Transfer of Distillery, Brewery, Microbrewery, Fortified Winery licences (in other cases).

  • The prescribed application along with the valid documents should be submitted to the concerned Distillery/Brewery/Winery Officer/Range Excise Inspector (in case of Microbrwery) as the case may be, who in turn forwards the same with recommendation to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise. Based on the recommendations of the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Excise Commissioner will transfer the licence.
  • Documents to be submitted with application:
    • 1 . APPLICATION IN PRESCRIBED FORMAT
    • 2 . EXISTING LICENCE COPY. (IN ORIGINAL)
    • 3 . TRANSFER OF LICENSED PREMISES ALONG WITH INFRASTRUCTURE ALONG WITH THE KHATHA EXTRACT IN THE NAME OF TRANSFEREE. (AS THE CASE MAY BE.)
    • 4 . PROPERTY DOCUMENTS, RENTAL OR LEASE AGREEMENT OF LICENSED PREMISES (AS THE CASE MAY BE.)
    • 5 . PREVAILING LICENCE FEE FOR TRANSFER OF LICENCE.
    • 6 . ADDITIONAL LICENCE FEE AS APPLICABLE
    • 7 . ENTIRE LICENCED PREMISES BLUE PRINTS IN TRIPLICATE IN THE NAME OF TRANSFEREE, ALONG WITH OLD APPROVED BLUE PRINT
    • 8 . NOTARISED UNDERTAKING FOR NOT HAVING ANY DISQUALIFICATION AS PER APPLICABLE RULES FROM TRANSFEREE
    • 9 . PAN CARD
    • 10 . MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION AND ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION / RECONSTITUTED PARTNERSHIP DEED. (OLD AND NEW)
    • 11 . VAT CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
    • 12 . CONSENT LETTER FROM TRANSFEROR AND TRANSFEREE
  • Application Fee : Transfer fee equivalent to 25 percent of Licence fees and 15 percent additional licence transfer fee
